A Solution to The Outlaw US Empire's Inability to Recruit Military Peons: Why Not Try Peace?

Robert Bridge concludes his article, “Will U.S. Collapse Because Americans ‘Too Fat and Criminal’ to Defend Country?”, saying:

“How the U.S. military will find the man power to fill its ranks, not to mention operate the increasingly complex military technology, is a herculean problem that promises to haunt army brass for many years, while presenting the most dangerous security risk to the U.S. in many years.”

Huh?! Say again! What “security risk”? What nation is going to invade the Outlaw US Empire? Who would want to given its massive social problems. Think of the logistics involved even if it was Mexico that wanted to gain the half of its nation back that was stolen beginning in 1836 and ending in 1848. And why would Mexico want that half back anyway now that most of its resources are plundered? Russia has demonstrated it has more than enough resources for itself and many other nations. And China is too busy developing itself, Eurasia and Africa to bother with North America. The Founders were quite correct that the two oceans were a great defensive barrier. In the age of stand-off missiles and nuclear weapons, what's the need for a massive standing army and 800+ overseas military bases if the goal is basic security? Perhaps there's another reason why peace isn't an option for the Neoliberal Parasites running the Outlaw US Empire? Might that be the need to continue Plundering other nations to satisfy those afflicted with Pleonexia?

Perhaps it's high time the Outlaw US Empire realize its great domestic failures that have led to many observations like this one, “A US not safe for own citizens is not qualified to lead the world,” that cites one of the few US Media personalities brave enough to say what must be said (the following emphasis is mine):

In a TV program aired on Tuesday [9/6/2022] local time, Fox News host Tucker Carlson commented, "An American citizen should be able to live or walk anywhere in America without being raped or murdered for it, period. That is the baseline requirement for civilization. It's called order."…

More and more common people who live in the US simply do not feel safe anymore. As Carlson put it, the US lost the baseline requirement for civilization, or order.

Later in the article we read a statement whose wording implies that the audience already knows much of the background story, which ought to be odd given the publisher is located on Mainland China:

Those who stress law and order tend to arbitrarily arrest others and pass sentences. Mass incarceration for profit has for a long time been a cancer in the US judicial system. This has, in turn, led to more crimes. On the other hand, do those who advocate for judicial justice really care about it? See how a big controversy was triggered by the FBI's search of Donald Trump's home.

The basic social order of the US is severely challenged. The only way out is a reform in its system, including judicial system, to cure social inequality and bridge the gap between the rich and poor.

The reality is far worse than that warned by Bridge. The real risk to the security of American citizens comes from within as I outlined in my article on Plunder. This Pepe Escobar article focuses on what's being done to Germany and Europe but the corruption and resulting “gaming of the system” began in the Outlaw US Empire at the end of the 1990s. These four citations by Frederic Bastiat I resurrected for the reason that we are experiencing them now:

When plunder becomes a way of life, men create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it. “Economic Sophisms," 1848

Sometimes the law defends plunder and participates in it. Sometimes the law places the whole apparatus of judges, police, prisons and gendarmes at the service of the plunderers, and treats the victim--when he defends himself--as a criminal. “The Law,” 1850

All the above constitute the genuine threat to Global Security, including that of those living within the Outlaw US Empire. The attempt to overturn that contrived system is what the conflict between NATO and Russia/China is all about. What Bridge needs to do is remove the blinders that prevent him from seeing the Big Picture. It's actually a very good thing that the Outlaw US Empire can't meet its recruitment goals—that makes it harder to Plunder the world. Truth be told, the reasons why the goals aren't met are more troubling which are directly related to the underlying factors causing the loss of civility within society and resulting epidemic of gun violence. The sordid history behind it all is deep and reaches back to the initial settling of North America and the development of the first maxim by Bastiat cited above, “When plunder becomes a way of life, men create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.”

Reducing the ability of the Outlaw US Empire to Plunder is a good thing and harms no nation's security except for those people with twisted ideas about what security constitutes. It's becoming clearer daily that NATO led by the Outlaw US Empire is the only entity on the planet that wants War, not Peace. 85% of humanity desire Peace so they can reasonably pursue the hard work of development—themselves and thus their nations. Only with the establishment of Global Peace can all nations enjoy the security they desire.
