A Tale of Two Vows: Biden's and Putin's

Back on 7 February 2022, Outlaw US Empire President Joe Biden made the following vow as reported by media:

"If Russia invades, that means tanks or troops crossing the ... border of Ukraine again, then there will be ... no longer a Nord Stream 2. We, we will bring an end to it," Biden said. Asked how, given the project is in German control, Biden said: "I promise you, we'll be able to do it."

One week ago on 21 September 2022, Russian President Putin in what's being called his Mobilization Speech made the following vow at its end:

"It is in our historical tradition, in the fate of our people, to stop those who are striving for world domination, who threaten to dismember and enslave our Motherland, our Fatherland. We will do it now, and so it will be."

We just witnessed Biden fulfilling his vow, although not all of the NS2 pipeline was damaged as one pipeline escaped. Putin on several previous occasions has announced the effort by the Outlaw US Empire to dominate and control the world failed and is being replaced by a new Multipolar World based on the Order established by the UN Charter. However, it's quite clear that the Empire hasn't abandoned its attempt with its latest act of terrorism.

Why terrorism? Because keeping Europe, in particular Germany, from obtaining low price Russian natural gas in the amounts required enabled Europe's economy to remain afloat, primarily because Germany was the main engine of growth for all of the EU. We are already seeing what's happening to Germany's economy with high energy prices—massive closures of longstanding industrial employers and very serious talk of moving those factories and thus their jobs outside the EU—which means joblessness, annually deepening poverty, financial crises and an end to any hopes of vertical mobility within society. And that's an outlook not just for industrial workers, but everyone within the EU since economic dependency is something shared throughout despite what some might think. And that terrorizes all those affected.

A few EU nations are fortunate to be able to obtain Russian gas via the South Stream pipeline system. But as Pepe Escobar reports, the situation will remain very tense:

And once again, it gets worse: Gazprom is threatening to sue the Ukrainian energy company Naftofgaz for unpaid bills. That would lead to the end of Russian gas transiting Ukraine towards the EU.

As if all of that was not serious enough, Germany is contractually obligated to purchase at least 40 billion cubic meters of Russian gas a year until 2030.

Just say no? They can’t: Gazprom is legally entitled to get paid even without shipping gas. That’s the spirit of a long-term contract. And it's already happening: because of sanctions, Berlin does not get all the gas it needs but still needs to pay.

So, Biden's vow confirms the predictions made by Dr. Michael Hudson at the time of the vow and after. Here are his major papers on the topic, "Ukraine a Trojan for Germany’s US dependence"; "America Defeats Germany for the Third Time in a Century"; "The Dollar Devours the Euro"; "America’s real adversaries are its European and other allies". All of them plus his other papers, interviews and books confirm my analysis that what we're seeing is Disaster Capitalism to the nth degree for it's Neoliberal Imperialistic Parasitism that's driving all this led by those afflicted with Pleonexia as I've stated previously. Again, I invoke Bastiat:

“When plunder becomes a way of life, men create for themselves a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it.”

Putin's vow is more of a reiteration of statements previously made but in a very overt manner that is very hard to ignore, although most media even in Russia seem to be trying very hard to do just that. And IMO that's a big mistake. Russians and the Rest of World (RoW) deserve to know what the ultimate cause is since Russians will be asked to “do it now.” It's beyond liberating Ukraine from Outlaw US Empire/NATO Nazism. It's about guaranteeing Russian and world security based on Russia's proposals made last December and the aims announced in the 4 February Joint Declaration by Russia and China, which have also been reiterated by both Xi and Putin since. I also direct readers to Lavrov's activities during the recent UNGA Debate all of which are posted to my VK Wall where he goes into great detail informing the world why Putin's vow must be fulfilled if a just and peaceful world is what's desired by RoW. Many nations had already provided an answer of sorts by clamoring to join the Shanghai Cooperative Organization, particularly all the Outlaw US Empire's former Persian Gulf allies, all who are also now talking to Iran and planning developmental deals with it. The change in the global balance of power is noted by those paying attention. And that's good but not nearly sufficient to end the Outlaw US Empire's attempt at world dominance.

There are many areas that I haven't mentioned where the Empire poses threats to RoW aside from nuclear or biological terror. It's deeply involved in international Narco-Trafficking. It continually rapes information systems to gain data on every living person while also attacking critical infrastructure and other institutions cybernetically. It's deeply involved in Human Trafficking and Organ Harvesting. And its long been the world's #1 sponsor of Terrorism and Terrorist nation. One of its current goals is to create a monopoly in the area of microchips and processors, but it's failing at that due to the ingenuity of Chinese, Russian and other nation's engineers and technicians. Broadly the issue is called Technological Sovereignty. And although I'm omitting some issues, I cannot omit the Outlaw US Empire's Cultural Imperialism via Hollywood, Disney, and a host of other actors all aimed at canceling all other cultures and languages to be replaced by the English Monoculture. Putin once famously said, What Russian would want to live in a world without Russia, without Russian culture, Russian language, Russian traditions? No Russian would want to live in that sort of world.

IMO, Putin's words over the years have exemplified and illustrated the Existential Challenge Russia and RoW is faced with by the Outlaw US Empire's attempt to attain the Full Spectrum Dominance it declared as its #1 policy goal back in 1996 and 1999. Yes, this has been going on since then, and many would argue was just amplified then.

And so, the Two Vows. Both merely semi-accomplished, while one is much bigger than the other. One IMO is morally correct, the other vastly immoral. Very few in the West know of Putin's Vow, while more by now thanks to his act of terrorism know of Biden's Vow. IMO, more Russians need to know Putin's vow and ask him to explain what that further entails Russians to do. Back on June 30th, Putin said the following in a speech:

“Of course, a separate conversation is needed about such a model [genuine multilateralism], about our vision of the future, about an agenda that would unite, not divide, humanity. And in the future, I think it is important, of course, to specifically devote one of my public speeches or some other format to this subject.”

I was hoping that Putin would deliver that speech on September 21, but we got the Mobilization Speech and his Vow instead. Hopefully one of Putin's advisors reads what I write and tells him he really must deliver that speech as Russians deserve to know what their overall cause is besides the preservation of Russia.
