My Commentary on Possible War Between NATO & Russia

The following commentary was spurred by the discussion about today's topic at Moon of Alabama and much is based on my knowledge of Russia's military and its capabilities as well as the recent Heritage Foundation Report about the woeful state of the Outlaw US Empire's military which is on my Wall and linked to within my commentary. In my profile, I note that I was in the US Army's 519th Signal Intelligence/Electronic Warfare Company from 1979-1985, so I have a credible military background. I also began my study of history as a Military Historian, which provides me with a tad more credibility. This commentary assumes a degree of prior knowledge by readers such as the current state of Russia's Special Military Operation (SMO) and why it's that way. Quite a lot of the pre-SMO history is noted in articles on my wall, particularly the case for Genocide on the part of NATO/Outlaw US Empire which are the forces directing events in Ukraine since the 2014 coup. As most ought to know, there's a lot of bullshit injected into the info-space from both sides, but especially from the Ukies and their Western Masters.

Begin Commentary:

Given the tactics we've seen NATO employ for its Ukie Army, would they be altered if US/UK troops were being employed and if so in what way? First IMO, we should look at the Heritage Foundation's appraisal of the US Army:

"The Army as 'Marginal.' The Army’s score remains 'marginal' in the 2023 Index. The Army has fully committed to modernizing its forces for great-power competition, but its programs are still in their development phase, and it will be a few years before they are ready for acquisition and fielding. In other words, the Army is aging faster than it is modernizing. It remains 'weak' in capacity with 62 percent of the force it should have but has significantly increased the force’s readiness, scoring the highest level of 'very strong.' However, with the Army pushing operational training down to the company level, below battalion and brigade, it is unclear how ready its brigades actually are or how effective they would be in combat. The Army has a better sense of what it needs for war against a peer, but funding uncertainties could threaten its ability to realize its goals." [My Emphasis]

Readiness is great, but that doesn't count for shit in combat. IMO, the US Army won't perform any better than the Ukies it sent in to die first. Unmentioned is its AD ability as it will be operating in a theatre without its doctrinal mandate of Air Supremacy, and that means no close air support of any kind. And we know about the Air Forces lack of reliable planes. Let's look at its rating next:

"The Air Force as 'Very Weak.' The USAF’s score has been downgraded from 'weak' in the 2022 Index to 'very weak' in the 2023 Index due to the deepening of previously assessed issues related to aging aircraft and very poor pilot training and retention. The retirement of aircraft is outpacing the introduction of new aircraft, worsening the service’s capacity problem. The shortage of pilots and the dangerously low levels of flying time for the pilots the service does have degrade the ability of the Air Force to generate the amount and quality of combat air power that would be needed to meet wartime requirements. Although it could eventually make its contribution to winning a single major regional contingency (MRC), the time needed to win that battle and the attendant rates of attrition would be much higher than they would be if the service had moved aggressively to increase high-end training and acquire the fifth-generation weapon systems required to dominate such a fight. The USAF would struggle greatly against a peer competitor. [My Emphasis]

Woeful it is and NATOs other air forces aren't much better against the very high-quality Russian Aerospace forces. The USN and its Marines I'll omit, although the USN's air squadrons do have a role to play in Ukraine. And if you do read about the Marines, the only reason it got higher marks than the Army is because it's reduced its force size by over 30%.

Verdict: Any Outlaw US Empire military forces will meet the same fate as their Ukie cannon fodder by likely being employed piecemeal and without the sort of support Army doctrine calls for. IMO, deploying the US Army to Ukraine would destroy it as a fighting force.

I had some additional thoughts after seeing the arrival of the Ford in English waters:

I see the USN now has two carrier groups in the EU arena, Bush and Ford. If they want to have the use of the groups's air squadrons and everything needed to keep them flying from parts to ammo, then they'll need to unload all that to land bases as those carriers will die on the first day of confrontation between NATO and Russia. The USN pukes will be forced to swallow their pride and admit reality; if not, the only real source of help to take away Russia's air superiority will be sunk. Indeed, where's the Eastern movement of the forces based in Germany and Italy? Are DPRK's antics aimed at tying down the Imperial forces in RoK, Japan and Western Pacific? Might as well ferry all the carrier-based air squadrons and all their material since USAF lacks adequate assets. And the main force that isn't in theatre but must be is every last platoon of armor and armored infantry, plus all their logistical support. If all that movement began tomorrow, it might be finished by April or May, provided none of it gets interdicted. And of course, none of those movements can be hidden. How much of Ukraine will remain to be "saved" by then?

IMO, the only way any portion of Ukraine can be salvaged by NATO is for NATO to wrest it from Russia, which means combat with Russia exposing all NATO to Russian arms. IMO, Russia has no fear of NATO's arms thanks to its outstanding AD systems. Perhaps NATO's Nordic portion might try an Inchon-like invasion of Russia's arctic to capture some of Russia's gas fields. That would be just as desperate as Inchon was where Macarthur got very lucky.

So far, NATO has said it doesn't want war with Russia but wants it defeated on the battlefield. Well, Ukies are already defeated and are thus incapable, so NATO is left with doing the job itself. And NATO's incapable of even trying that job without the participation of the Outlaw US Empire. IMO, the Empire has broken off a plug of tobacco too big for its mouth and is in the process of choking on it.

There's one word that encapsulates the reason for the decline and ruin of what might have been an exemplary nation—corruption—and the cause for that is as old as Imperialism—Pleonexia and its inherent hubris. Humanity is now in the process of maturing beyond the Age of Plunder and will eventually become a global community. But first this last gasp battle by the remaining immature former plundering nations to retain their position must be fought for they refuse to negotiate an end to their former status and submit to agreed-upon International Law in the form of the UN Charter and other associated treaties. With luck, the struggle won't go nuclear as that's in nobody's interest.
