I know a lot about Remdesivir in Europe as I was closely following the EU scandal for some time (below), but I had no idea that the similar killing spree was going on with it in the USA. And it's the first time I hear about the revealing slides presented at FDA and about some lawsuits going on in the USA. Well, nothing APPALLING from the officials coming out surprises me any longer... I'm just sad, tired, pissed off etc. Like many others, like many of you...
Bad Medicine (15/12-20): What is bad medicine? It is both the use of medical interventions that cause more harm than good as well as the failure to use helpful interventions. Moreover, “bad medicine” is the failure to personalize medicine to an individual patient’s needs. With the SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 crisis that has put our nation – and much of the world – on an unending lockdown, medicine has run amuck.
Why, more than six months into this situation is Anthony Fauci just now mentioning the value of Vitamins C and D, both of which are highly protective for contracting viruses. Why wasn’t he loudly and regularly encouraging every American to protect and boost their immune systems with these widely available inexpensive (hello sunshine and Vitamin D!) vitamins from the very beginning?

Willful Ignorance on Display at the FDA? Did the FDA ignore the WHO’s damaging megastudy on Remdesivir to push through their full approval of the antiviral drug? Dr. Eric Topol, Founder and Director of the Scripps Research Institute and Professor of Molecular Medicine, thinks the expensive drug isn’t that effective at all. Are safety and efficacy really the FDA’s top concerns, or is there something else going on?
FAUCI’S REMDESIVIR ‘FALLS FLAT’ — In April, Dr. Fauci said the repurposed antiviral, Remdesivir, showed a “clear-cut, significant, positive effect in diminishing the time to recovery.” However, the WHO has now released the findings of its ‘Solidarity Trial,’ encompassing 400 hospitals around the world. Results indicatel the drug has ‘fallen flat,’ prompting the WHO to declare it has “little to no effect” on hospitalized COVID-19 patients.
Remdesivir and interferon fall flat in WHO’s megastudy of COVID-19 treatments: One of the world’s biggest trials of COVID-19 therapies released its long-awaited interim results yesterday—and they’re a letdown. None of the four treatments in the Solidarity trial, which enrolled more than 11,000 patients in 400 hospitals around the globe, increased survival—not even the much-touted antiviral drug remdesivir. Scientists at the World Health Organization (WHO) released the data as a preprint on medRxiv, ahead of its planned publication in The New England Journal of Medicine.
