VK Music is a massive collection of tracks of all genres and subgenres. For already 10 years, the most demanding music lovers have found their favorite songs and talented artists have acquired new listeners on VK.

This entire time we have been helping aspiring musicians and have had long-awaited releases from world-renowned artists. Fan organizations and pages of official music labels live side by side on VK. We share playlists, go to concerts together and joke on each others' strange preferences, but one thing brings us together and that's music, our passion.

In spring, we launched an updated music section with playlists, album covers and a fresh design. You liked this: the total length of all the music our users listened to in 2017 added up to hundreds of thousands of years. We appreciate your choice to use VK and will continue to work on this section next year, but now it's time to sum up the last year.

VK users have made their choice, and today at the first-ever VK Music Awards ceremony, the most popular musical artists of 2017 will be recognized.

The live stream starts at 8:00 pm. Pavel Volya is hosting the event and will do so from his smartphone using "screen-reality", a format of mobile live streaming. We welcome all to watch the awards and cheer on their favorite artists. The video is in 9:16 format, so it'll be easy to watch on your phone. The winners of the VK Music Awards will have their pages marked with the badge, VK Music Awards Winner.

The winners from the quiz on the VK Music community will watch the online show with guest stars in at the Vegas City Hall in Moscow. Tickets to the show are not being sold.
