During the last several years, VK has made many contributions to charity. In 2010, the "Donate" button, as well as the ability to give charitable gifts, appeared in groups. We have completed several interesting side projects with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Downside Up fund, and regularly support charity organizations that come to us for help.

Many choose VK as their main communication platform to reach their audience thanks to its simplicity and accessibility. Today we are beginning to work systematically with foundations and social projects in accordance with the new direction of our team — VK Charity.

Each month we will help noncommercial organizations to promote important social projects by choosing them based on competition results.

A catalog of charity organizations hosting verified charity projects will guide people who want to help but don't know how.

In the near future, we will announce a free educational program specially designed for charity projects. It will provide detailed information about working with VK tools and managing projects via the social network.
