Сегодня мы хотим поделиться с вами отзывом о летней школе в Rennes School of Business, курс - «Развитие бизнеса в Европе». Айгуль Ахметова, студентка ОП «Социология и социальная информатика», рассказала о своем увлекательном путешествии во Францию и поделилась своим опытом участия в программе летней школы.
Почему вы решили принять участие в летней школе?
Об учебе в рамках академической мобильности во Франции я грезила с первого курса. Я решила поучаствовать в отборе в летнюю школу вуза-партнера Rennes School of Business на курс "Развитие бизнеса в Европе"(список летних и зимних школ можно найти в разделе Summer School & Other Opportunities на сайте). И это, без сомнения, стало моим лучшим решением. Как только мне пришло приглашение от летней школы, я без раздумий начала подготовку к отъезду.
Как проходило ваше обучение в вузе-партнере?
Первое, с чего началось обучение - это знакомство с вузом и ребятами, с которыми предстояло обучаться. Нас провели по вузу и устроили приветственную встречу с играми и экскурсией по городу Ренн.
С 2-го по 5-ый день совместно с приглашенными экспертами мы проходили весь теоретический материал, необходимый для выполнения практики. Мне понравилось, что информация подавалась креативно - где-то шутки, где-то сложные экономические процессы, объясненные на уровне бытовых примеров. Это помогло мне не отвлекаться, быстро понимать и запоминать теорию.
6-ой 7-й день были свободными днями. Мы с однокурсниками воспользовались прекрасной возможностью и решили получше познакомиться с достопримечательностями города и его окрестностями. В субботу посетили вторую по величине ярмарку во Франции, а в воскресенье поехали на побережье Ла-Манша, где пообщались с жителями города и получше узнали местную кухню.
Практическая работа была с 8-го по 11-й день. Нас рандомным образом поделили на команды из 5 человек, чтобы совместно делать презентацию с разбором кейса французской компании TechNature и выдвинуть стратегию по улучшению ее бизнес-процессов. Для того, чтобы ближе познакомиться с компанией, на 9-ый день нас отвезли на экскурсию в городе Брест, где совместно с работниками компании мы посетили производство.
На 12-й день был экзамен, защита презентаций, отъезд. Последний день в школе был насыщенным. Перед нами стояла задача написать экзамен по теоретическому материалу курса и защитить групповую презентацию. После этого состоялся farewall lunch (прощальный обед), где мы обменялись контактами с одногруппниками, попрощались и разъехались по следующим точкам своего маршрута.
Что вас впечатлило в вузе?
Вуз и студенческие организации уделяют большое внимание поддержанию психофизического состояния студентов. Например, внутри вуза есть действующая комната отдыха, где каждый студент может послушать музыку, поиграть в настольный хоккей или приставку, угоститься сладостями и кофе. Если выйти на территорию вуза, то все лето, осень и весну у студента есть возможность попрыгать на надувном батуте и потанцевать под музыку, которую местная студенческая организация включает каждую перемену.
Что вам дал опыт участия в летней школе?
Участие в летней школе научило меня самостоятельно планировать путешествие, преодолевать возникающие трудности. Например, мой багаж не дошел до Франции, а телефон украли в первый день на вокзале. Все это было неожиданно, но так как я была совершенно одна в незнакомой стране, мне нужно было автономно находить пути решения возникающих проблем. Также эта поездка подарила мне огромное количество языковой практики и знакомых со всего мира, с которыми мы активно поддерживаем связь и по сей день.

Today we would like to share with you a review of the Summer school at Rennes School of Business, on course - «Business Development in Europe». Aigul Akhmetova, a student of «Sociology and Social Informatics» program, told about her exciting trip to France and shared her experience of participating in the Summer school program.
Why did you decide to take part in the Summer school?
Since the first year of the studies at HSE University, I had dreamed about studying in France under the academic mobility programme. I decided to participate in the selection for the Summer school at the partner-university Rennes School of Business in the course ‘Business Development in Europe’ (more information could be found in the Summer School & Other Opportunities section on the website). Without a doubt, this was my best decision. As soon as I received an invitation letter from the Summer school, I started preparing for my departure without hesitation.
What was your study experience at the partner-university like?
The studies began with the acquaintance with the university and the groupmates. The managers of the programme gathered us at the university and arranged a welcome meeting with games and a tour around the city of Rennes.
The first five days were devoted to studying the theoretical material which was necessary for the practice under the guidance of the invited experts. I liked that the information was presented in a creative way: sometimes there were jokes, sometimes there were complex economic processes explained on the level of daily situations. This helped me to stay focused, quickly understand and memorize the information.
On the sixth and seventh days, my classmates and I took advantage of a great opportunity and decided to get to know the sights of the city and its surroundings better. On Saturday, we visited the second largest fair in France, and on Sunday, we went to the English Channel coast, where we talked with the residents of the city and tried the local cuisine.
Practical work was from the eighth to eleventh days. We were randomly divided into teams of five people to jointly make a presentation with a case study of the French company ‘TechNature’ and put forward a strategy to improve its business processes. In order to get to know the company better, on the ninth day, we were taken on an excursion in the city of Brest, where, together with the company's employees, we visited the manufacturing building.
The exam, the presentations and the departure were on the twelfth day. The last day at school was busy. We had the task of writing an exam based on the theoretical material of the course and defending the group presentation. After that, there was a farewell lunch, where we exchanged contacts with classmates, said goodbye and departed for the next stops of our trip.
What impressed you at the university?
The university and student organizations pay great attention to maintaining the psychophysical state of the students. For example, in the university building, there is a working lounge where each student can listen to music, play table hockey or a console, treat themselves to sweets and coffee. All summer, autumn and spring the student has the opportunity to jump on an inflatable trampoline and dance to the music which the local student organization turns on every break.
How did you benefit from participating in the Summer school?
Participation in the Summer School taught me how to plan a trip on my own and overcome difficulties that arise. For example, my luggage did not reach France, and my phone was stolen at the railway station on the first day. All this was unexpected, but since I was completely alone in an unfamiliar country, I had to find ways to solve emerging issues myself. Also, Rennes School of Business gave me a huge amount of language practice and acquaintances from all over the world, who we still keep in touch with.
